  • Monitor tax law developments affecting high-net-worth individuals, trusts, estates, and investment structures, and assist in evaluating planning opportunities.
  • Coordinate annual tax projections, estimated tax payments, and cash planning.
  • Support gift tax reporting, trust distributions, basis planning, residency planning, charitable giving strategies, and wealth transfer initiatives.
  • Assist with entity structuring and tax considerations related to investments and private transactions.
  • Maintain tax calendars, filing deadlines, and supporting documentation across multiple entities and jurisdictions.
  • Participate in special projects involving family office operations, succession planning, and strategic tax initiatives.
  • Develop and improve internal processes and controls related to tax reporting and document management.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Taxation; Master’s in Taxation preferred.
  • CPA license strongly preferred.
  • 6–10 years of relevant experience in Private Client Services, High Net Worth Tax, Family Office, or a comparable practice.

  • Strong technology skills including advanced Excel and a demonstrated aptitude for adopting new tools, comfortable using AI to improve the efficiency and quality of tax workflows.
  • Experience coordinating with attorneys, trustees, and external advisors on sophisticated wealth planning matters.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the discretion and professionalism required to work with senior executives and family members.
  • High level of intellectual curiosity, strong work ethic, and a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced, and dynamic environment.
