Salary: $103,000 - 143,000 per year Requirements:

• Approximately 2–4 years of professional backend development experience.
• Strong practical experience with PHP in a production environment.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda or serverless architecture, and familiarity with the broader AWS ecosystem.
• Solid MySQL skills, including relational data modeling, efficient query writing, and performance troubleshooting.
• Working knowledge of Python to read, support, and extend an AI agent codebase.
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL.
• Understanding of REST APIs, Git, automated testing, and general software engineering best practices.
• Interest in AI/LLM-based features and willingness to develop skills in this area.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently on well-scoped tasks.
• Ownership, clear communication, a quality-focused approach, and curiosity about practical applications of AI.
• Preferred: Experience building or integrating AI agents or LLM-powered features, such as with LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar frameworks.
• Preferred: Experience with AWS services such as API Gateway, SQS, S3, AuroraDB, CloudWatch, or SNS.
• Preferred: Familiarity with event-driven or message-queue architectures.
• Preferred: Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, or Infrastructure as Code such as CloudFormation.
• Preferred: Exposure to vector databases or retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
• Preferred: Comfort working across PHP and Python stacks.

• Design, build, and maintain PHP backend services running on AWS Lambda.
• Model, query, and optimize MySQL data, including schemas, indexes, and query performance.
• Support, maintain, and extend AI Agent functionality written in Python and backed by PostgreSQL.
• Develop scalable solutions using AI and LLM capabilities, bringing features from prototype to production.
• Write high-quality, maintainable code with clear structure, tests, and sound engineering practices.
• Participate in code reviews and exchange constructive feedback.
• Integrate third-party APIs and internal services reliably and securely.
• Monitor, debug, and optimize serverless function performance, reliability, and cost.
• Contribute to technical discussions, documentation, and ongoing improvements to our codebase and processes.
• Collaborate with product, frontend, and engineering teammates to deliver features end to end.
