At Uncle Giuseppe’s Marketplace, great food brings people together—and great people make it all happen! As we continue to grow, we’re adding a Bilingual Human Resources Intern to our Hiring Center in Levittown, Long Island .

This is your opportunity to get a taste of Human Resources while helping new team members begin their journey with Uncle Giuseppe’s. With a focus on recruitment and new hire onboarding for our stores , you’ll help turn “You’re hired!” into a welcoming, organized, and positive experience.

What You’ll Be tasked with

• Help welcome new store hires and guide them through the onboarding process with patience, enthusiasm, and professionalism.
• Use your bilingual communication skills to explain onboarding steps, answer questions, and help new hires feel comfortable and informed.
• Process offer letters and onboarding documents using our UKG platform. Assist new hires with completing required paperwork and online onboarding tasks, checking for accuracy and following up on missing information.
• Coordinate onboarding appointments and communicate next steps, schedules, and reminders.
• Support the interview process by scheduling interviews and conducting initial candidate pre-screens for select positions.
• Update candidate and new hire information in Rapid Hire/UKG while maintaining accurate and organized records.
• Partner with the Recruitment team and store leadership to get new hires set up for orientation and store training
• Handle confidential information with care and assist with additional recruitment projects as needed.

What You’ll Bring to the Table

• Bilingual communication skills required , with the ability to clearly assist candidates and new hires in both languages.
• Current enrollment as a Junior or Senior at a four-year university, pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• A welcoming personality and a genuine interest in helping people.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to keep track of multiple appointments and follow-ups.
• Clear communication skills—in person, over the phone, and through email.
• Professionalism, sound judgment, and respect for confidential information.
• A willingness to learn and stay flexible in a busy hiring environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with applicant tracking systems or UKG is a plus.
• Previous office, customer service, or administrative experience preferred.
