IDS is seeking a Chief Logistician to support logistics operations and Army supply activities. The selected candidate will provide logistics expertise, support property accountability requirements, and utilize Army supply systems to support mission requirements.
• Support logistics operations.
• Utilize the Army Supply System in support of mission requirements.
• Use Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-A).
• Support activities in accordance with Army supply regulations.
• Support requirements involving DoD Property Book regulations and policies.
• Secret clearance.
• High school diploma.
• In-depth knowledge of the Army Supply System.
• Two years of experience using Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-A).
• Five years of experience in logistics.
• Knowledge of Army supply regulations.
• Knowledge of the accounting policies of the DoD Property Book regulations and policies.
• Certification through the American Society of Transportation and Logistics, or the International Society of Logistics.
• Familiarity with the Defense Property Accountability System.
• Knowledge of a broad range of supply program relationships between technical supply operations and general supply support programs.
